Imperial Palace East Gardens The only remains from the Edo Castle's former circle of defense, an entry to the Imperial Palace East Garden can be gained from three gates: Ote-mon, Hirakawa-mon and Kitahanebashi-mon. It is worth a visit for its sculpted greenery and the remaining structures, such as the moats, stone walls and guardhouses.
Kappabashi A conglomerate of approximately 150 shops, the Kappabashi is often refereed to as the 'Kitchen Town'. From cutleries and wall furnishings to cleaning supplies and cash registers, this is the perfect place to shop for essentials needed to open a restaurant or a bar.
Asakusa Shrine Built in 1649, the Asakusa Shrine is one of the most famous religious shrines in Japan. Its annual festival that that happens around May attracts hundreds and thousands of visitors, both local and international.
Toshogu Shrine Located 130 km north of Tokyo, the wonderful Toshogu Shrine is set in the middle of a forest. It is the mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the ruler of Japan between 1603 and 1868. The shrine is also home to a number of cultural properties, including a number of Buddhist and Shinto buildings.
